Quick Walk - Otani Hotel and Garden
Got home a bit late today, but Sae and I decided to go for a walk instead of hitting the gym. Before that though, just wanted to mention - today was the first day that I witnessed the packed trains that people always talk about. So many people were getting in the train after work today, the train workers actually came over with their white gloves and shoved people into the train, tightly packing them so the door would close. I waited for the next train so I'd be first line...
We found a hotel on our walk that Sae had been on the look out for that has a famous traditional Japanese garden. It was about 3 blocks from the apartment. I see why it is famous - it was absolutely stunning. Of course my Nikon has a fresh battery but NO MEMORY CARD, so I was stuck with my iPhone. Another spot I'll have to go back to so I can appropriately capture it. Time to call it a night, rather difficult to post during the intense schedule.
